Born in Washington D.C. and now reside in Waldorf, Maryland, writer-director Madison Simmons is currently a senior at Bowie State University, studying Visual Digital Media Arts with a concentration in Time-Based Media. She has interned with Megamind Media Productions creating content for BET and TVONE networks. She is also a member of the writing team for Alexander Milan Productions.
Her father introduced her to the world of films at a young age and its unlimited means of imagination.  During her childhood, Madison struggled with a speech impediment that made speaking to her peers difficult. She would cope with writing short stories and presenting movie reviews for writing assignments during elementary school.  But filmmaking gave her a voice to stand on her own as a storyteller and filmmaker. She plans to continue her work in the film industry. To create films that entice conversations on our society and will change the world for the better.
